Volkert Nicholas Volkerszis a singer/songwriter, guitarist and harmonical player who has performed folk, acoustic, blues, jazz, children's music, Pacific Northwest folk songs, Celtic music, and more, throughout the Puget Sound region since the 1960s.
Volkert became an Orthodox Christian in 1999 on Christmas Day. Many of his songs are a reflection of his Orthodox spirituality blended with his favourite musical styles. He has written more than 70 songs, including a growing catalog of new tunes since 2006 when his music experienced a rebirth. Volkert is based in Arlington, Washington (USA).
His life story was published in Ancient Victorys, a regional music journal.
